Teddi Mellencamp says daughter Dove is a ‘happy silly baby’ in an update four months after her neurosurgery
She’s keeping her fans informed of her family life.
And Teddi Mellencamp noted that nine-year-old daughter Dove is doing just fine four months after her neurosurgery.
The little one was diagnosed with lambdoid craniosynostosis and must wear a helmet for a few more months to protect her head while healing from the surgery, all of which Teddi has updated followers through her Instagram account.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a sweet snap of her little girl wearing a denim jacket, leopard leggings and ‘Will work for Chanel’ T-shirt.
‘Dove noggin update,’ she wrote before reporting as her daughter. ‘”Hi guys, I am 9 months old and other than a zig zag scar underneath my hair across my head I wouldn’t even know I had neurosurgery a few months back.
‘I have been in this helmet aka doc band for 10 weeks and am about to grow out of it. The doc’s said I have to wear another helmet for 10+ more weeks but it truly doesn’t bother me one bit. Mom cried a little when she found that out but then Dr. Urata reminded her that not only is it helping me shape my head further but it is protecting me as I am starting to learn to crawl and lift myself up incase I bump into something.

She wrote that Dove gets one hour free from the headgear per day after bath time, ‘which is a good thing bc peeyou it can get stinky.’
Teddi added: ‘I am a happy silly baby who loves to laugh, command all the attention in a room, go on walks and be sung to. For any other #craniowarrior babies out there. We have got this.”‘
In addition to sleeping 12 hours per night, John Mellencamp’s daughter revealed on her Instagram stories that her little one is also on a set napping schedule.

‘She goes to sleep at 7 p.m. and she wakes up at 7 a.m.,’ Mellencamp said. ‘Her first nap is at 10 a.m. She wakes up at noon and then her second nap is at 3, 3:30. She sleeps about an hour.’
Teddi was fired from the popular Bravo program after three seasons, a move that came after Denise Richards quit after just two seasons, leaving behind Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi and Dorit Kemsley.
RHOBH newcomer Crystal Minkoff has joined the group in addition to Kyle’s sister, Kathy Hilton, taking on a friend role.
The women had to stop filming recently when a crew member tested positive for COVID-19, with Kyle, Dorit and Kathy also contracting the virus and ordered to stay under quarantine.
