‘We can’t let them suffer because of our issues. The only way to end this is by working together, so what do you say?’

However, the only one striking a blow against the cruel old Cobra Kai sensei appears to be LaRusso’s wife Amanda (Courtney Henggeler).

After suffering a spinal injury from a dangerous fall, Johnny’s most loyal student Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) comes out of a coma and starts physical therapy to relearn how to walk.

‘Silence! Never, can’t? Those are just words, they’re meaningless. You’re not a kid anymore,’ Lawrence instructs his prized pupil.

‘The world isn’t just going to hand it to you. You want something, you’ll have to crawl across the floor, use your damn teeth if you have to. I’m always going to be right here next to you, because I’ll always be your teacher.’

Meanwhile, Johnny’s estranged son Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) gets into a fight while incarcerated in juvenile detention hall following his violent match against Miguel.

New this season to the formerly YouTube Red series is the return of Yuji Okumoto and Tamlyn Tomita, whom Daniel encounters while visiting Okinawa, Japan.

Fans of The Karate Kid Part II might recognize Okumoto as LaRusso’s former nemesis Chozen and Tomita as his former love interest, Kumiko.
