Ozark season four was confirmed earlier this year as the final and “most explosive” season yet to tie up the series’ loose ends. And following the intense and action-packed season three finale, there are plenty of possible storylines up in the air – from Marty (played by Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde’s (Laura Linney) ties to the Navarro Cartel to Ruth Langmore’s (Julia Garner) alliance with Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery). But the Netflix show’s familiar faces will be joined by some new characters – and one could spell bad news for the heads of the Byrde family.
While the likes of fan-favourites and series regulars Ben (Tom Pelphrey) Helen (Janet McTeer) won’t be back following their demises in season three, Ozark has wasted no time bringing in new faces.
Joining the likes of Wendy, Marty, Jonah (Skylar Gaertner) and Charlotte Byrde (Sofia Hublitz) will be a number of new cohorts – and not all will be on the Byrdes’ side.
There are two new stars in the pipeline as series regulars, with Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) being joined by newbie and nephew Javi Elizonndro (Alfonso Herrera).
However, it’s the introduction of another series regular played by Adam Rothenberg which could pose problems for Wendy and Marty.

The nephew to Omar, Javi has worked his way up within the Navarro Cartel.
However, Javi’s described as someone who may not entirely be onside with his uncle’s ways of running the criminal enterprise.
In fact, Javi’s behaviour in the final season is tipped to blur the lines between loyalty and betrayal – but will he be the one to kill Omar?
If he does, Omar’s demise won’t likely happen until the latter half of the series as actor Solis has been bumped up to series regular too.
