Ferne McCann: TV star shares 'laid back' parenting style and lockdown advice

“But a positive that came from lockdown was I got Sunday completely clean and out of nappies day and night and into her big girl bed. It was tough, but I used that time indoors to give it my full focus.”

Lockdown restrictions are continuing to change in the UK and the mother-of-one explained she is continuing to adapt with the guidance.

She added: “Lockdown one was definitely tough and it was an adjustment to normality. I went from being a super busy working mum to a 24/7 stay at home mum. I have a whole new found respect for stay at home parents.

“I was fortunate enough to have my mum living with me which helped. For lockdown two my best friend Carl has moved in with me. As proud as I am of being a single parent, having an extra pair of hands to help has been really supportive for me.”

While coronavirus changes how lots of Britons work, the reality star stayed busy by filming the second series of her ITVBe fly-on-the-wall reality show First Time Mum.

The TV star has also been working on her collection with BabyChum featuring unisex clothing for children aged from six months to five years which was inspired by her daughter.

Speaking of the designs, Ferne said: “What I love about Babychum is it is a one-stop shop for all things gifts, personalised bits and bobs, clothes toys and they just have the cutest products. Teaming up with Babychum was a really exciting opportunity for me as this was Sunday’s first ever range so I was really thrilled as it was a first for us.
