Carol Kirkwood is often on hand to give BBC Breakfast viewers an update on the day’s weather each morning. Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt introduce Carol’s segment at various points throughout the programme but at one interval Naga cheekily questioned the need for the weather presenter.
Naga said: “Chilly outside and it’s going to get colder and there’s going to be snow as well.
“Why are you here, Carol?” She questioned.
“Because some of that was right, Naga,” Carol said. “But not all of it…”
Continuing on with the forecast, she said: “Naga is right that we’ve got a cold start to the day.”
