The show could also cut costs if Lin-Manuel Miranda took a reduction in pay on his nightly cut for authoring the hit play.
Insiders for Page Six told the publications that producers are hoping for a headlining-grabbing return to Broadway to parallel between the end of the Broadway shutdown and Independence Day celebrations.
The source said: ‘In their heads, it’s all about being leaders in the theater community and blazing a trail.
‘But the PR wouldn’t hurt, either. It’d be on the front pages of the paper.’
Obviously there always is a chance that vaccine rollouts could be successful and theaters could be opening much earlier than July.

However, the New York Post reported that most shows aren’t expected to return until the Fall of 2021.
