Developers Mihoyo has managed to launch one of the surprise hits of the year, with Genshin Impact seeing more content going live later today.
While not everyone will be chasing it, there will soon be new characters to unlock and quests to complete.
This will include the five-star Zhongli, who will also have his own event banner going live at the same time.
The “Gentry of Hermitage” will run until December 22 and will give gamers a better chance at unlocking him.
A message from Mihoyo explains: “In this event wish, the event-exclusive 5-star character “Vago Mundo” Zhongli (Geo) will get a huge drop-rate boost.
“In this event wish, the 4-star characters “Blazing Riff” Xinyan (Pyro), “Wolf Boy” Razor (Electro), and “Frozen Ardor” Chongyun (Cryo) will get a huge drop-rate boost!
“After this event wish ends, the 4-star character “Blazing Riff” Xinyan (Pyro) will appear in the standard wish “Wanderlust Invocation” in Version 1.2.”
GENSHIN IMPACT ZHONGLI BANNER RELEASE DATE AND TIME
According to developers Mihoyo, the Genshin Impact Zhongli release date has been set for Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
This will be part of a bigger update, which will also come with additional content and quests.
To unlock Zhongli, gamers will need to reach the required Adventure Rank and complete the prerequisite quests, before using a Story Key to unlock Zhongli’s story quest, the Historia Antiqua Chapter.
Travellers can obtain Story Keys by completing Daily Commissions. One Story Key will be granted for every eight Daily Commissions completed.
This means reaching Adventure Rank 40 or above and completing all quests in Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches.
From what has been shared so far, The Genshin Impact Zhongli banner has reported start time of 6pm EDT, on December 1, 2020.
If this proves correct, the new Genshin Impact Zhongli Banner release time should happen at around 11pm GMT in the UK.
