Full Moon Lunar Eclipse horoscope: What today's Lunar Eclipse means for YOU

This year there have been three Lunar Eclipses already, and there will be another Lunar Eclipse tonight. The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse will be faint, but you’ll feel its impact on your emotions, desires, and thoughts. Express.co.uk chatted to moon mentor and author of Lunar Living: Working with the Magic of the Moon Cycles, Kirsty Gallagher (@kirsty_gallagher_) to find out what November’s Lunar Eclipse means for you.

When the Full Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth to the Sun and passes through the Earth’s shadow, it’s a Lunar Eclipse.

Some sunlight is able to pass through the Earth’s atmosphere and reach the moon, and this gives it a dark orange colour.

Lunar Eclipses last several hours, and they can be seen wherever the Full Moon is in the sky.

Unfortunately, the Eclipse was visible at 9.42am this morning so you may have missed it.

You can still harness the energy of the Eclipse though, so read on to find out your horoscope!

November 30 Full Moon Lunar Eclipse horoscope

Every time there’s a Full Moon, it’s in the sign opposite the sign the Sun is in.

Right now it is Sagittarius season, so the Moon is in Gemini.

Have you been lying awake at night full of anxiety over the last couple of nights? Or maybe you’ve been suffering with migraines?

The Gemini Moon may have something to do with this, Kirsty said.

She explained: “First of all, we need to talk about the anxiety, confusion, headaches, dizziness, lack of sleep or crazy dreams and a general feeling of not knowing whether you are coming or going, or which way is up.

“As is often the way with a Gemini moon it’s yes, it’s no, it’s this, it’s that, you’re staying, you’re going – you will flit from one thought and emotion to another in a matter of minutes and each one will feel so real.

“This all provides us with great insight and wisdom, even though it may not feel like it right now.

“Everything we are feeling is being amplified by this powerful Lunar Eclipse.”

Today, tonight, or over the next few days you might have a revelation.

Kirsty explained that eclipses are connected to the lunar nodes, which are to do with our karma, life lessons, and what feels safe to us.

She said: “They are about stepping out of our comfort zones (south node) to live our purpose and become who we are here to be (north node).

“That’s why eclipses often bring huge and sudden endings, changes, insights and revelations – they are like the universe’s way of trying to nudge you back along your life path and into the direction you are supposed to be going, back towards your true north.”

Kirsty’s IGTV video on Instagram (@kirsty_gallagher_) explains this in more detail.

You may find yourself giving ultimatums and letting go of things you thought you never could

Kirsty said: “Lunar eclipses bring endings and release, the Full Moon shines a huge illuminating light onto our lives and shows us where we are gripping, clinging, holding on and staying too much in our comfort zones not allowing ourselves to grow and expand.”

This Full Moon is going to encourage deep thought, but this may not necessarily be a good thing.

Kirsty said: “Gemini is an air sign and so this Moon will often take us all up into our heads.

“It’s a fast-moving energy, which is why anxiety can often be high around a Gemini full moon.

“But take note of what is running through your mind and what your anxiety, stresses, fears and tears are about– as this is the full moon shining a light on the life areas that need some release and surrender over the eclipse gateway.”

The truth isn’t always pleasant, but you need to make sure you are honest with yourself and accept what the Moon is showing you.

Jot down what is worrying on you a piece of paper and burn it under the Full Moon.

Kirsty said: “The things that you are worrying and stressing about and feeling the most upset and anxious and afraid about are the things in your life that keep you stuck in your comfort zone, often staying for years and perhaps even decades in situations, relationships, jobs and life circumstances that are not meant for you.

“The Gemini full moon will shine a light into your mind and illuminate all of the fears and doubts and lack of self-belief that keep you running back to your comfort zone time after time.

“It’s time to realise that there is no growth in your comfort zone, no expansion, no learning and to be honest not very much living.”

Let the Lunar Eclipse strip away everything that you no longer need, and open up your heart and mind to what’s coming.
