Janette Manrara pines for husband Aljaz after exit leaves her in tears 'Sad to say bye'

Strictly Come Dancing duo Clara Amfo, 36, and Aljaž Škorjanec, 30 became the latest pair to leave the show after a dance-off against Jamie Laing, 32, and Karen Hauer, 38. Judge Craig Revel Horwood opted to save Clara and Aljaž while Motsi Mabuse chose to give Jamie and Karen another chance. Head judge Shirley Ballas made the final decision to save the latter pair.

Following their decision, Janette was seen wiping away tears as her husband Aljaž praised Clara for her efforts throughout the series.

She later took to Instagram to share an emotional post about wanting to hug her spouse.

The couple, who married in 2017, have been living apart due to social distancing rules on the show amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Janette shared a picture of Clara and Aljaž on her social media page, writing: “So sad to say goodbye to @claraamfo and @aljazskorjanec!

“They brought so much joy to the dance floor! Clara is such a beautiful woman inside and out and a fantastic role model for so many!

“It was a pleasure watching her shine on @bbcstrictly, a show that means so much to her! I’m sure she will ‘keep dancing’!”

She added: “And as for my husband, you were a dream partner as always! I absolutely LOVE watching you dance!

“I cannot wait to hold you tight in my arms! I love you with all my heart!”

In response to her post, Radio One DJ Clara wrote: “LOVE YOU firecracker and Thank You, you are truly golden *starts tangoing like you and @hrvy* Thank You for everything xxxxx.”

Clara and Aljaž scored 19 out of 30 points for their energetic Jive routine last night.

Despite her best efforts, judges pointed out the mistakes she made.

On how she felt about the comments, she said on the show: “I don’t know, you know what, we’re all kind of processing how we deal with this process.

“No word of a lie, rehearsal today I got all my steps in, but I think adrenaline got me.”

Following their exit, Aljaž also took to social media to praise his dance partner.

“What a beautiful ride of love and laughter,” he began.

“Thank you Clara for being such a pure joy to spend every moment with. I am so proud of the beautiful routines we created on that special floor.”
