A Manchester United and Real Madrid legend, the forward now plays for Italian champions Juventus. Yes, you’ve guessed it – it’s Cristiano Ronaldo!

The Portugal captain usually shows off his ability on the football pitch but he took time out of training to star in an advert for a Portuguese telecommunications company.

The video stars with children singing a traditional Christmas carol but the atmosphere quickly changed when Ronaldo enters the scene, complete with the look of a natural rock star.

As the forward comes on stage, a bell rings and the song quickly changes to I Love Rock ‘n Roll by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

A singer joins Ronaldo as he gives an enthusiastic performance on the guitar with the lyrics of the song changed to advertise the company.

He’s unlikely to be releasing his own Christmas single however, with the Juventus back in action against Benevento on Saturday evening.

The 35-year-old has been in fantastic form for the Italians this season with nine goals in seven games across all competitions and attention will turn firmly back to the football pitch this weekend.
