Mike Bushell: Strictly star causes a stir with train clip 'No passengers were disturbed'

Mike Bushell, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year, attempted to make his former dance partner Katya Jones proud, as the BBC sports presenter showcased his dance skills on a train. The TV anchor’s moves were soon noticed by none other than his co-star Dan Walker.

The 54-year-old took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself on a train as he practised a Charleston.

The BBC presenter explained he had brushed off the dance cobwebs ahead of his appearance on the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two.

In view of his 59,000 followers, Mike penned: “How did it go again? Charleston on a train.

“Quick trip back into @bbcstrictly for #ItTakesTwo this evening before back to @BBCBreakfast later. Big decision with panelists @BluHydrangea_ @suziruffell and great @Rylan back and @CraigRevHorwood there and @HRVY @JManrara @BBCTwo.”

While a third person added: “Can’t wait to see you back!”

His cheeky post comes after Mike appeared on the show in 2019.

He was the seventh contestant to be eliminated from the competition after the judges chose to save Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice.

Mike lost a stone and a half on the programme and had to undergo a procedure called a Strawberry Lift, which is designed to lift and tighten the facial jowls and is a pain-free treatment.
