The cleric, 42, who was fired as the head of the celebrity-favorite megachurch’s New York City branch earlier this month after admitting to an affair, was seen enjoying a stretch on his driveway after taking out the recycling.
Pictures obtained exclusively by the DailyMail.com show how Lentz and his wife of 17-years, Laura, 40, look to have purchased some essential items for their new home as they try to rebuild their lives on the west coast.
Boxes for a $500 65 inch Samsung smart tv and a washing machine were among the trash taken out.
Carl and Laura had sold their family’s home in Montclair, New Jersey, right before the scandal broke for for $1.5 million, relocating to California, where he’s been spotted working out shirtless on the beach.
On Tuesday Lentz was spotted in a red top and shorts, along with a beard and glasses, as he carried out the household chore alone.
The couple, who are parents to 16-year-old Charlie, 14-year-old Ava and Roman, 11, are said to be undergoing intense therapy after their marriage was thrown into the spotlight a few weeks ago when Lentz announced he had been unfaithful.

The 4,500sqft property sits on a .14-acre lot and comes complete with five ensuite bedrooms – one of which is the ‘owner’s suite’ that has a studio-sized closet.
As well as the huge closet, the suite has its own sitting room, a balcony with Pacific views and a his and hers bathroom with a two-person shower and ‘an elegant soaking tub’.
The home also boasts a huge kitchen with a marble island and copper fittings and an indoor-outdoor dining area that looks out over the yard.
A friend who spoke to PageSix last Thursday said: ‘Carl’s taking time to work on his marriage, go through intense counseling with his wife, and spend time with his kids,’ the friend said. ‘He is committed to rebuilding trust and fixing his marriage.’
The friend added that Lentz ‘never had any plans to leave his marriage’ – even at the height of his affair with Karim.
The Biebers unfollowed Lentz and Laura on social media in the aftermath of his firing – described by Hillsong founder Brian Houston as being for ‘ongoing breaches of trust’ and ‘moral failures’.

In the aftermath of the high-profile scandal, the megachurch has appointed a New York City legal firm to conduct an ‘in-depth review’ into its culture after a ‘number of people came forward’ with concerns.
Announcing Lentz’s firing, the church was vague about the specific reasons for his dismissal, only citing ‘breaches of trust’ and a ‘recent revelation of moral failures’.
The following day, Lentz confirmed suspicions of infidelity in a statement posted to his popular Instagram account, writing: ‘I was unfaithful in my marriage, the most important relationship in my life and held accountable for that.
‘This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full responsibility for my actions.’

It didn’t take long for Karim to come forward to tell her side of the story, most recently telling various outlets dirty details of their five-month affair.
‘He would come to my apartment three times a week with Tequila in his backpack so people wouldn’t see him with it in the street,’ the designer told Daily Telegraph.
‘He said the sex we had was the best he’s ever had in his life and he couldn’t stop being with me.’

When Karim found out Lentz was married, she claims she told him to end their fling.
‘When I found out he was married, I told him repeatedly ‘go back to your wife, go back to your family,’ but he kept turning up in the lobby of my apartment block with bottles of Clase Azul tequila for us to drink,’ she claimed.
‘He said he felt bad for what he was doing to his wife, that she was an amazing, good woman, that he had never done it before but his marriage wasn’t perfect.’

Manhattan Beach is a small city on the southern edge of Los Angeles and one of its most exclusive zip codes where a typical home costs $2.5million.
As a result, Lentz has some famous new neighbors, among them tennis star Maria Sharapova, soccer player Mia Hamm and most of the LA Kings roster.
The priapic priest also has friends in the area in the shape of fellow pastors Chad Veach and Judah Smith, who live eight miles away in Ladera Heights and Playa Del Rey respectively.
Lentz grew up in Virginia then went to Australia after graduating high school. That is where he was introduced to Hillsong and met its founder, Brian Houston.
In 2003, he returned to the US with Laura to set up Hillsong in New York City.
It has since grown, under his leadership and with the help of Brian’s son Joel, into a celebrity mecca. Lentz’s salary is not listed anywhere in the company’s most recent annual reports.
In 2019, Hillsong East Coast – which he is in charge of – brought in $12.7 million in revenue and more than a quarter of that – $3.87 million – went on staff salaries.
