Christmas market 2020: Which Christmas markets are going ahead and which are cancelled?

Lincoln Christmas Market 2020 has been axed “due to the ongoing threat of the UK’s coronavirus outbreak.”

Instead, the market has gone “virtual” so shoppers can still get their hand on festive goods.

London’s biggest Christmas market Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park will not be taking place in 2020.

“In light of ongoing health concerns and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, and considering the size and scale of this event, we just couldn’t find a way to do that without compromising the magical attractions, shows, rides, bars and experience that makes Hyde Park Winter Wonderland so special,” said Winter Wonderland.

This year’s Bath Christmas Market has been cancelled.

“We have adapted our event to offer a Virtual Bath Christmas Market, letting you shop directly from our local creatives and meaning you can still tick off everything on your Christmas list and feel reassured that you’re supporting Bath’s small businesses,” said Bath Christmas Market.
