Michael J Fox health: Actor shares his early Parkinson's symptoms – 'twitching a lot'

Michael J Fox took Hollywood by storm in the 80s when he was cast as Marty McFly in Back to the Future. The box office hit spawned two more films and cemented Michael’s reputation in Hollywood. Then in 1991, his life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Almost 30 years after receiving the life-changing diagnosis, the actor revealed to ITV’s This Morning hosts Eamon and Ruth how he was first alerted to the disease. The Hollywood star said: I thought I had a sports injury, I was twitching it a lot and it wouldn’t stop. I went to see a neurologist and then he said you have young onset Parkinson’s.”
