Woman with one of the world's biggest mouths crams TWO doughnuts inside on This Morning

This Morning viewers were left gobsmacked today when a woman who claims to have one of the ‘world’s biggest mouths’ crammed two whole doughnuts inside.

Samantha Ramsdell, 30, who currently lives in Stamford, Connecticut, became a viral sensation during lockdown for her enormous facial feature – and has amassed more than 875,000 followers on TikTok.

Speaking to hosts Davina McCall and Philip Schofield, she revealed she now makes up to £11,000 per video thanks to her unusual talent – after being bullied for the size of her mouth as a child.

‘I turned it into my biggest asset,’ she explained. ‘It’s crazy, I never thought I would get the reactions that I do now.’

Samantha said her mouth measures 9.25cm wide, which makes her shy of the official Guinness World Record, held by Francisco Domingo Joaquim of Angola, whose lips can stretch 17cm (over 6.5 inches) wide.

She explained that she’s always wanted to be a singer on Broadway and a comedian, but she feared her career was ‘over’ when the theatres and clubs closed earlier this year due to lockdown.

Determined to make a go of it, she turned to TikTok – where her videos quickly caught the attention of users, largely due to her huge mouth.

‘It came from a lot of my comedy videos, when I made funny expressions, people were like, “What is up with your mouth?”,’ she explained. ‘I started making funny responses to them.’

Viewers at home were stunned by Samantha's talent, with one remarking: 'You gotta admit that the lady with the giant mouth is one of the coolest guests that #ThisMorning have ever had, right?'

Samantha even recorded a tongue-in-cheek video series about her ‘genetic condition’ called BAM – which she revealed stands for ‘Big A** Mouth’.

For her segment, the This Morning team had produced models of Samantha’s face to scale, with a gaping hole in the middle of her face to demonstrate what items she’s able to fit in her mouth.

Holly and Davina took turns to pass items through it, including an apple, a doughnut, an entire sandwich folded in two and a This Morning Christmas candle, previously won by a viewer in a competition.

Asked if she had anything to hand to show off her skills live on TV, Samantha promptly picked up an apple and crammed it in – without even smudging her lipstick.

‘Look at the girth!’ exclaimed Davina, while Philip struggled to stop himself chuckling.

Samantha revealed she gets a lot of requests for eating different foods on TikTok and opening her mouth for as long as she can for periods of time.

‘You have carved yourself out a career here that actually pays you to post on TikTok,’ Davina pointed out.

‘Some of the top TikTok raters do that as their full time job,’ Samantha said. ‘They pay just for people watching – you get three cents for a thousand views.’

Philip said: ‘To the bullies, to the people at school that gave you a hard time… she can get 11 grand a video, so up yours!’

Samantha finished off her interview with a ‘doughnut trick’, cramming not one but two tasty treats in her mouth.

‘I’m watching a woman shove a whole apple in her mouth. Working from home 2.0 has peaked,’ another tweeted.

And one joked: ‘Sod what she put in her mouth, what’s that she’s got on her lips?? Shoving those two doughnuts in her mouth That lipstick didn’t even smear!’

Samantha, a medical sales representative, only had around 300 hundred followers on social media – but just six months later, she has close to a million.

‘I lost over 50 pounds two years ago and regained a ton of my confidence back,’ Samantha previously said.

‘I started taking singing lessons, then posting my singing videos on Instagram. I fell in love with improv and comedy and started posting more of that on social media too.

‘I made a TikTok account in fall 2019 but didn’t start really consistently posting until Covid hit around April 2020.

‘I started growing popularity over lockdown, I’d make a lot of funny face videos, comedy skits and singing parodies.

‘But any video involving my mouth and the faces I can make always went crazy viral.

‘One of my biggest videos was me responding to a comment someone left me asking if I feel insecure about my mouth.

‘I responded with a silly video; mouth wide open and saying, “I used to be insecure, but it’s a part of me, so now I just let my big mouth shine in the sun!” That one boosted me to like 100,000 followers in August.

‘My next huge viral video was me doing the “I want to see your face glow red” challenge which got me to almost 500,000.’

She said: ‘Sometimes at the beginning, I was more offended when people called me a “one-trick pony” about my mouth.

‘I was like “Hey! I’m posting way more than just my mouth, but my mouth just gets five times more views!” It is a little frustrating sometimes because I wish I could also be known for my singing and comedy videos too, but hey, any press is good press!

‘Also, I’ve learned long ago that people making mean comments says way more about them than me. Obviously, they are not doing well emotionally if they have to take the time to write mean things to me, so I bless them and move on!’

Samantha believes her larger-than-average mouth is responsible for her powerful singing voice.

She said: ‘I think it does make me a better singer – lots of amazing singers have huge mouths!

‘Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, Fantasia Barrino, Alanis Morrisette. I’ve also heard Justin Bieber has a big mouth too, so it has to be true!’

Samantha has even been asked the actual size of her mouth in inches, so viewers at home can truly understand how big it is.

She added: ‘You know what’s funny, last time I “measured” I’m like 3.5 inch wide and almost 4 inch tall.

‘But I gotta get a better measuring tape. Let’s just say it’s ginormous and I’m working on my application to Guinness as we speak.’
