Janet McTeer height: How tall is Ozark's Helen Pierce star Janet McTeer?

Ozark season four marks the final outing for the series but fans should not ear because the Netflix series will be longer. There will be 14 episodes split into two blocks to be enjoyed. Fans are also curious to know more about the cast of the show.

Ozark saw an explosion of success this year after season three dropped as the world went into lockdown in a bid to stave off the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the globe.

The show saw the return of Marty (played by Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) as they tried to keep one step ahead of their bosses.

Throughout season three, they continued to receive instructions from the cartel’s lawyer and representative Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer).

She was a looming figure but by the end of the series, she was revealed to be dispensable as Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) gave the Byrdes an unexpected promotion.

The actress told the Los Angeles Times earlier this year: “I’m six feet tall, and I’ve never been what you would call conventionally pretty.”

She added how she felt after watching the play, which set on the path to acting: “The lights went down and this excitement just welled up and I thought, ‘If I don’t have a go at this, I will regret it.’”

While McTeer admitted her height meant she didn’t get the “tiny, pretty roles”, there were still plenty of parts out there for the star to get her teeth stuck into.

She said she liked to play period and be transported away to someone completely different to herself.

The star admitted she did the same thing when starring in a contemporary project, saying she liked characters who were “very different” to her like Helen.

McTeer explained: “Sometimes I’ll follow someone who walks the way I think a character should walk.

“With Helen, we talked a lot about compartmentalizing. Ozark is about how people deal with their families: How do you deal with bringing this illegal thing into your family?”

Among her other acting credits are Albert Nobbs, Me Before You, Maleficent and Jessica Jones.
