The product, Berty’s Stuffing Ketchup, is being sold in a festive red, white and black bottle, designed to replicate Father Christmas’s iconic coat. It also has a sprinkling of breadcrumbs added for a touch of classic stuffing texture.
Schoolboy Berty, from Derby, is working with artisan British sauce maker Sauce Shop, on the product, which will be stocked exclusively on Amazon, for £2.99 per bottle.
He said: “It tastes even yummier than I imagined. I can’t wait to have it on my Christmas dinner. It might even convince me to eat all my vegetables.
“I feel super proud of the sauce and can’t wait to share it as a gift to all my family this Christmas.”
Berty’s proud mother, Angela Stephenson, said: “I am so proud of Berty and how he developed this idea using research, and so confidently conveyed his idea on his entry video.
The idea was brilliant, and the sauce is really nice.
“His photo shoot was a blast. I had no idea how much he loved the camera and his pride in what he had achieved shone through.”
The limited-edition sauce’s launch followed a nationwide competition, which saw children submit their ideas for their perfect Christmas ketchup.
Runners-up included nine-year-old Finley’s Rudolph’s Ketchup, featuring crunchy carrots, hot chillies and juicy tomatoes, nine-year-old Kitty’s Jingly Gingerbread Ketchup and seven-year-old Dan’s Reindeer Poop, which featured a BBQ sauce base with added raisins.

Berty’s Stuffing Ketchup, which is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, will be available through The Christmas Shop and Grocery Store on Amazon.co.uk, for £2.99 a bottle.
It will also be available alongside Brussels Sprout Ketchup and Spiced Cranberry Ketchup in a limited-edition Christmas Collection Gift Box for £11.
