Max George: Strictly 2020 star apologises for swearing on air 'It was just in the moment'

The Wanted’s Max George, 32, has taken to his Instagram page to apologise for dropping the “F-bomb” live on air just moments after taking to the dance floor with his partner Dianne Buswell for their American Smooth on Strictly Come Dancing 2020 tonight. The pop singer apologised for his actions after host Claudia Winkleman said they were “deeply sorry”.

After finishing their routine, he appeared to shout: “F***ing get in!”

Once JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden performed and received their scores from the judges earlier tonight, Claudia Winkleman quickly apologised on behalf of the show and Max.

She said: “I also just want to apologise for some language earlier that involved Max.

“I don’t know the details, I don’t know if you heard.

Dianne also decided to update her fans following their low-scoring performance, as she encouraged her fans to vote.

“If you liked us, please vote for us so we can stay another week because we really, really want to,” she started, in view of her 834,000 Instagram followers.

“I absolutely loved the dance, so hopefully you guys did too.

“Please if you can, vote for us,” before Max chipped in to apologise for swearing on the show once more.
