The New Jersey native decorated a three tier gold Time Machine cake in collaboration with the mobile game Caesars Casino.

And in new images obtained by DailyMail.com, 43-year-old the baker showed off his heavily scarred right hand after three surgeries from a freak accident in his home in September.

Buddy wore a white baker’s shirt and seemed to be in good spirits as he was decorating a Time Machine themed confection.

The event was part of Caesars Casino’s annual Wish Upon a Star campaign, which focused on special live events and granting the wishes of the game’s players. 

Speaking to a live online audience from his home, Buddy spoke about his own recovery and how baking is a great outlet.

‘It’s been crazy this 2020, I can’t wait for it to be over!’ he told the audience.

He also thanked the fans ‘for being a part of the Caesars family.’

This comes after the Halloween Goldbelly Live! event where he taught aspiring bakers how to make festive green Frankencakes.

In September Buddy’s hand was impaled by a spike when the baker’s at-home bowling apparatus malfunctioned. 

He has had three surgeries since the awful incident.

‘It’s been a rough road to recovery but I’m hanging in there. Just wanted to check in and let you all know how much I appreciate all the love, we’ll wishes, and positive vibes! Keep em coming,’ he wrote on social media.

This month he will return to TV on the Food Network in the special series Buddy vs. Christmas which was filmed prior to the accident.

And, on December 23, TLC will air a two-hour special about Buddy’s accident and recovery.

Buddy and his family-owned and operated New Jersey bakery, Carlo’s, have been featured on TLC’s hit reality series Cake Boss since 2009. 

His wife is Lisa and they four children: Sofia, 17, Buddy Jr., 16, Marco, 13, and Carlo, nine.
