The next generation of gaming drops this week and many are still on the lookout to scoop up an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 on day one. While if that’s going even going to be possible remains to be seen, 2K is partnering up with Microsoft and famed designer ‘XboxPope’ to giveaway one limited-edition Claptrap-themed Xbox Series X. If you’re a Borderlands fan, here’s what you need to know.
To celebrate the upcoming next-gen update for Borderlands 3, 2K and Microsoft are offering one lucky fan a chance to get an incredibly detailed Xbox Series X with a Claptrap design. No annoying voices here, instead just a really sweet all-over makeover to make the X look like the companion everyone loves to hate.
The good news is that this is a pretty awesome way to let the community flex those creative muscles. The bad news is that it’s only open to UK fans. The prize, in addition to the amazing console itself, is an additional 1,000 Euros as winnings. To enter, Borderlands fans will need to submit a poster, or general artwork, celebrating the Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition coming to next gen.
XboxPope will also be a judge for the art competition, so put your best artistic foot forward for a chance to win. The odds are definitely stacked because there is only one of these bad boys available to win. As of right now, there are no plans to sell this exclusive console, so if you fancy it? Shoot your shot!
