Ben Hillman was tasked with finding the perfect holiday home for Tracey and Iain in Ibiza, Spain. The couple had their hearts set on a two-bedroom property with a sea view but the Channel 4 expert was left speechless when the pair refused to see any more of the third apartment he had lined up – despite it offering everything on their wish list.
Tracey and Iain were interested in finding a property that could be used by their parents and children as well as themselves.
The couple’s wish list meant Ben had a tough search on his hands as the new home had to satisfy the needs of three generations.
However, the third offering appeared to have everything the couple wanted, including a stunning sea view.
Introducing the property, Ben said: “We’ve got an exclusive here, we met the owner on the beach. It’s not even been placed on the market yet.”

“It’s probably not the largest living space we’ve seen but does that matter when you’ve got that [view]?”
Iain replied: “That does make a difference, it makes a huge difference.”
“I’m not feeling this at all,” Tracey confessed as Ben shared: “That is a massive shocker.”
“It’s a bit like a holiday let and we want to be here for protracted periods during the year and, therefore, this doesn’t have a homely view,” she explained. “Regrettably, we’re going to rule it out.”
“Something a bit more homely perhaps,” Iain offered.
“Is it worth showing you any more?” Ben asked.
“No, I don’t think so, I’m not feeling this,” Tracey replied bringing the search to a halt.
After seeing all five properties, the couple explained they had found the perfect area but were still looking for their dream holiday home.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
