Mourinho makes playful jibe at Tottenham's Europa League victory over Ludogorets

‘When you win but you don’t play especially well’: Jose Mourinho makes playful jibe at Tottenham’s Europa League victory over Ludogorets in bizarre Instagram post

Jose Mourinho may be relatively new to social media but the Tottenham boss is making up for lost time with a series of posts after each time his side play.

Following Thursday night’s victory in Bulgaria against Ludogorets, Mourinho was back at it again in the aftermath of a comfortable 3-1 win.

Spurs may have got back to winning ways following a recent shock European defeat to Antwerp, but that did not stop Mourinho making a playful dig at his side.

Posting on the social media platform for his 873,000 followers, Mourinho uploaded a photo of himself nonchalantly eating crisps from a tupperwear container in the Spurs changing room.

Captioning the post, Mourinho wrote: ‘When you win but you don’t play especially well.’

The Tottenham boss, or perhaps most likely the social media company who handle his account, also strangely chose to tag the official account of Ludogorets in the post following their defeat.

The victory sees Spurs climb back into contention in Group J, with six points from three matches played so far.

Mourinho has an impeccable record in the competition, having won it twice previously with both Porto and Manchester United.

Spurs now return to action on Sunday when Premier League action recommences with a trip to the Midlands to face West Brom.

Mourinho’s men currently sit third in the top flight, two points behind leaders Liverpool.
