During a TV documentary three years ago, father-of-four Terry said he would never be able to come to terms with the death of his son.
“It’s something you never get over,” he said on Terry Yorath: Life On The Edge programme.
Gabby’s parents Terry and Christine confirmed they were getting a divorce in 2007 after 36 years of marriage.
Gabby, who raises awareness and funds for her brother’s condition, shares two children with her husband Kenny Logan – twins Reuben and Lois, 15.
