US Election CHAOS: Trump sends officials to fight 'fraud' amid bizarre ‘dead people’ claim

The Trump son and the former mayor of New York were sent to Pennsylvania by President Donald Trump to investigate allegations of voter fraud. The US election has not yet been decided, with some key states like Pennsylvania yet to finish counting absentee and mail-in ballots. Mr Trump claimed the delayed results were evidence of the Democrats attempting to “steal” the election, and has repeatedly claimed mail-in ballots are “rigged” while suing states for declaring results. Democrat challenger Joe Biden has rubbished the President’s allegations, with his campaign calling the statements “outrageous”.

Mr Giuliani then made the outlandish claim that Pennsylvania has “a reputation for dead people voting” in elections, with no evidence supporting his claim.

He then added: “This is beyond anything I have ever seen before.

“Do you think we’re stupid? Do you think we’re fools? You know something, Democrats do think you’re stupid.

“And they do think you’re fools. That’s why you get called ‘deplorable’ and ‘chumps.'”

Mr Giuliani then repeated the President’s claims the election was won by the Republican’s, and said they will win Pennsylvania.

He said: “We’re going to stick with this. We’re going to win this election.

“We’ve actually won it. It’s just a matter of counting the votes fairly.”

Mr Giuliani and Mr Trump both said the Trump campaign would be suing Pennsylvania to halt the counting of mail-in ballots.

As it stands, Pennsylvania has reported 88 percent of votes cast in the state.

Currently Mr Trump is leading Mr Biden in the swing state, with 51.6 percent of votes going to the President to the Democrat’s 47/3 percent.

The chaotic election still has five states counting their votes, with Mr Biden currently on 264 electoral college votes to Mr Trump’s 214.

The state is worth 20 electoral college votes, enough to secure Mr Biden the presidency or put the President back into contention for re-election.

Last night, Mr Trump launched an extraordinary press conference where he claimed victory despite votes left uncounted.

Speaking at the White House at 2am EST (7am GMT), he said: “This is a fraud on the American public, this is an embarrassment to our country, we were getting ready to win this election, frankly we did win this election.”

There is no evidence currently reported of voter fraud in this year’s election.

Mr Biden stuck a different tone to the President in his earlier address, urging supporters to “keep the faith” and wait for the full results.
