Emmerdale 'confirms' Chas and Paddy will get back together – but there's a twist

Emmerdale fans have seen Chas Dingle (played by Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) separated for the last couple of months, with Chas and baby Eve in Scotland, visiting Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb), while the vet remains in the village. Now, according to the latest ITV soap spoilers, the couple will reunite, but there is which could threaten their long-term happiness.

In upcoming scenes, Chas will face Paddy and explain why she didn’t tell him she had been in the village for so long without him knowing.

The Woolpack landlady wanted to come and help Charity, and then leave for Scotland again before anyone noticed.

But, word got out and Paddy was left terribly upset.

After avoiding each other for a few days, Chas finally heads over to see her partner and their conversation doesn’t go well.

So much so, Bear Wolf (Joshua Anthony) is left exasperated when his son tells him his relationship is over for good.

However, something Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) says throws Paddy and after telling Eve how much she loves her father, will Paddy admit his love for Paddy once and for all?

Should the two get back together, will Chas come clean about her infidelity during her absence from the Dales?

It comes after Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) caught her cousin out and demanding she know how she had been unfaithful to Paddy.

“You took your time,” Chas remarked in a preview clip for an episode later this week.

Charity replied: “Yes, well, you know what it’s like with queueing now.”

“How are you feeling?” Chas asked and she replied: “Like somebody stuck my head in a vice and turned my eyeballs inside out, but, you know, I’ll get out of it.”

“I suppose I don’t have to clear out any more plant pots?” Chas commented and Charity hit back: “Well, as I said, you can do one now, go back to the pub can’t you?”

Chas explained: “Well, yes, Paddy will be doing his paperwork over there, so I might just catch up with him later.

“You know, looking at that [mobile phone] every five seconds, isn’t going to make her [Vanessa] ring. It’s probably best if you steer clear, give her chance to calm down.”

“And would you calm down if Paddy hd copped off? I wish I knew who took that flaming picture,” Charity moaned.

“Come on babe, don’t be so hard on yourself. It was only a kiss,” Chas said but there was no reasoning with Charity who snapped back: “It doesn’t matter if it was 100 kisses, I still cheated.”

“There’s different levels of wrongness sin’t there? A little kiss, bit of flirting, it’s not proper cheating is it? We’re not talking about a full blown affair here! ” Chas suggested but Charity disagreed.

“Hang on a minute, I know for a fact, if Paddy had so much as looked at another woman, you’d have him strung up by his wotsits and inflicting a slow, painful death on him!” Charity commented.

The clip showed Chas argue: “That’s where you’re wrong! I think I’d be a lot more understanding.”

“No, you wouldn’t. Sorry, am I missing something here?” Charity asked and her family member responded: “I’m just saying, we all like to have our egos stroked. One fall off the path of righteousness and these things happen.”

“Out with it, what have you done,” Charity demanded.

Emmerdale airs weekday evenings at 7pm on ITV.
