Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, 27, revealed she has a slipped disc and a tear in her spine, which makes her “die” everytime she dances on stage with her band members. But, the popstar said the pain she suffers is “worth it”.
Perrie answered a series of questions from fans on the group’s official Twitter page, which has 11 million followers.
One fan asked: “Are you still recovering from learning the choreo for the video and the performance on the search?! #StreamSweetMelody.”
She replied: “I recently found out I have a slipped disc and tear in the base of my back/spine and I die every time we dance. But it’s worth it.”
Worried fans swiftly flocked to her post to send their well wishes.

“It is a very uncomfortable injury to have but she’s not going to let anything put a stop to Little Mix’s mesmerising performances — not on their BBC1 show The Search nor the EMAs.
“For now, it’s business as usual and they are all eager to do the best performances of their career to showcase their new tracks.”
The singer made the admission after performing new single Sweet Melody alongside Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock last Saturday on their BBC show The Search.
Jade Thirlwall didn’t join her fellow band members on stage as she was self-isolating at home.
As well as looking for a group to support them on their tour next year, Little Mix are also set to host the MTV EMAs 2020 next month.
When asked if she is nervous taking on a presenting role, Perrie admitted she gets the “worst anxiety” reading from an autocue.
She replied: “YES! I get the worst anxiety when I have to read from an autocue.
“I’m not a very good speaker but it should be okay! Oh and you’re gonna LOVE the performance.”
