“The farming carried on and the Cotswold Farm Park was shut with 53 staff on furlough, we felt it was a very difficult situation.
“But, watching the news and reading the stories about how incredible people were doing amazing work out there, it made us think perhaps there’s a way we can thank them and celebrate what they’ve done.”
The duo chose six winners out of the nominations, who were treated to a lodge stay as well as a behind-the-scenes tour of the farm and free treats.
“They are all inspirational characters in their own right, with all quite different stories,” Adam added.
“We went around and met them all when they were here, it was very moving really.”
