Valtteri Bottas has signed a new deal to keep him at Mercedes for the 2021 season.
And although Lewis Hamilton’s contract runs out this year, the six-time world champion is also expected to stay.
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said: “For Lewis, I guess he wants to be in the quickest car, and we would like to have the quickest driver in our car.
“It seems pretty obvious. We just need to find the time and sit down.”
Haas will have a brand new line-up next year after confirming the departures of both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.
