Natalie Cassidy: EastEnders star fears losing father after illness 'Dad hasn't been well'

EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy, 37, has taken to Instagram and shared a candid message about her dad. The Sonia Fowler actress has a close relationship with her father Charles, who lives with her.

The Albert Square star explained that the current state of his health made her more aware of mortality and admitted life has been a “challenge”.

The EastEnders star said she has “good days” and “bad days” but assured fans her dad is not suffering from anything “major”.

In view of her 50,000 Instagram followers, Natalie penned: “Last few days have been a bit of a challenge.

“Daddy hasn’t been very well, nothing major, but it makes you realise they aren’t going to be around forever.

Another person said: “Thinking of you and your family. Stay strong and keep positive.”

While a third person added: “Lost my Dad in April. My heart is still broken. Wishing your Dad a long life.”

As well as her dad, Natalie lives with EastEnders cameraman husband Marc Humphreys, their four-year-old daughter Joanie and her daughter Eliza, 10, from a previous relationship.

Last week, Natalie took to Instagram and praised NHS staff for their help after they fixed her youngest daughter’s broken arm.
