The problems began when Cynthia’s outdoor nuptials were forced to take place inside because of the severe weather conditions.

TMZ reports that two days before the wedding Cynthia made it an indoor event before of the extreme weather conditions.

With the event now indoors, the situation raised COVID-19 concerns, which led Bravo to decide it wouldn’t be safe to send a team in to film the 181-person event.

Cynthia had her own crew on hand and the reality star is reportedly going to give her footage to production which they’ll be able to use on the show.

Cynthia sounded overjoyed to marry her ‘best friend’ ahead of the wedding.

‘This is not our first rodeo. Both Mike and I have been married before — but we are ready to ride!’ she told the publication.

Mike, who is a Fox Sports correspondent, also was looking forward to the nuptials after growing closer to his fiancée while quarantining amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

‘If we could survive that, we can survive anything together. We’re happy, we’re ready to go,’ he enthused.

Cynthia was supported during the wedding by multiple current and former Housewives, with Kandi, Kenya and Eva serving as her bridesmaids, of whom Cynthia said: ‘I couldn’t imagine my day without them.’

Ahead of the event Cynthia went into detail on Instagram about the procedures that would be used to sanitize the country club, including the use of a disinfectant mist, which was shown in action in her video.

However, this kind of surface disinfection has been called ‘hygiene theater’ by The Atlantic and other publications in recent months, as current science on the coronavirus suggests only a small portion of people catch it from contaminated surfaces, while the vast majority catch it through airborne droplets and aerosolized particles, which are most likely to be avoided by wearing masks.
