Phillip Schofield addresses disruption in 'poignant' Zoe Ball chat 'It will be changed'

The presenter revealed he had started writing his autobiography in 2017 but put it on the “back burner” as “various things” were going on in his life at the time.

He then continued to write down his life stories for the book during lockdown.

“It was such a lovely experience,” he told Zoe. “It had to be written by me, I couldn’t do a ghostwriter and all that sort of stuff.”

“It’s my words, I wanted people to hear my voice when they read it,” he continued.

As he went on to discuss his childhood memories, Zoe told fans she had lost Phillip on the line due to a technical glitch.

Swiftly moving on from the blunder, she played a song before successfully getting the host back on air.
