Jet2 holidays and flights have been uppped to winter sun hotspots Rhodes and Madeira. The tour operator has added more capacity to the Greek and Portuguese islands following strong demand for the sunny destinations. The flights and holidays have been added for October and November.

Now anyone who travels to mainland Greece and its islands (with the exception of Crete and Mykonos) does not need to quarantine upon return to the UK.

Following the update, Jet2has added over 50 additional services to Rhodes in the past week alone, giving customers fantastic choice and flexibility.

Unfortunately, mainland Portugal is still not on the travel corrifor list.

Luckily, though, Madeira stil is.

Consequently, in response to continued demand for flights and holidays to Madeira, the company has also announced more services in October and November from Leeds Bradford and Manchester.

This means that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has added 17 additional services to the popular island over the past week.

These are the latest Jet2 additions:

Rhodes – ten additional services in total, thanks to extra Saturday services departing on November 7-14 from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted.

Madeira (Funchal) – eight additional flights, including extra Saturday services on October 24, October 31, November 7 and November 14 from Leeds Bradford, as well as additional Sunday services on October 25, November 1, November 8 and November 15 from Manchester.

These getaways are on top of the company’s current programme to these destinations, as well as other popular hotspots in Corfu, Kos, Italy, and Cyprus, with lots of choice and flexibility to Paphos and Larnaca available.

To give customers even more assurance ahead of their holidays, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have also launched a five star Defaqto rated insurance product.

This includes added Covid-19 cover for cancellations and medical claims abroad, as well as cover for travel to destinations where the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advises ‘against all but essential travel’ as a result of Covid-19.

Jet2 also have anti-coronavirus measures in place on their flights, from HEPA filters on aircraft, onboard cleaning and ensuring that everyone wears face mask.
