Strictly Come Dancing 2020: Ranvir Singh ‘lets slip’ secret costume department agreement

Ranvir Singh was announced as one of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing contestants and ahead of seeing her on the dance floor, the Good Morning Britain presenter has spoken out about being Strictly-fied. It seems the one thing Ranvir is bothered about is the undergarments and she has struck a deal with the costume department to hold everything in place.

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press, Ranvir said: “There’s no secret mate! I put on a stone during lockdown.

“So the poor wardrobe people I said: ‘Listen, I don’t mind what you do on the outside. What I care about is the strength of the support underwear.

“’It has to be the best you’ve got like just suck it all in!’

“And honestly, I’ll have fat earlobes and fat ankles and fat fingers because they will have pushed it all out! That’s fine,” she joked.

“It’s a real milestone, it’s a career high – it’s everything isn’t it?

“Strictly is about actually learning a skill. I haven’t learned anything from scratch for years.

“I just have my head down and worked really hard and now all of a sudden, there’s this beautiful chance to learn something completely different from scratch.

“I hope my brain works, my body works and I’m up for a challenge,” she remarked.
