Although he remains at the infectious stage of the virus – which lasts roughly two weeks – officials insist he can return to the campaign trail.
In his latest medical note, White House physician Sean Conley said he expected the President to return to public events this weekend.
The doctor wrote: “After returning home, his physical examination was stable and there were no signs of progression of the disease.
“Overall, he responded very well to the treatment, but there was no evidence of testing for adverse effects on the treatment.”
