Casey ‘Quigley’ Goode’s baby son Max discharged from hospital five days after testing positive for COVID-19
Her two-week-old son tested positive to COVID-19 over the past weekend.
But on Wednesday, American Idol alum Casey ‘Quigley’ Goode shared the good news that baby Max is back home after a five-day hospital stay.
She posted updates throughout the day on her Instagram Stories, starting with the announcement that Max was going to be discharged and ending with a sweet snap of the infant asleep and sharing: ‘Home at last, Max’.

The musician, who performs under the name Quigley, has been in isolation with her son in the hospital PICU since Saturday.
She wasn’t tested herself for the coronavirus while in isolation but before heading home, she went to get a nasal swab done.
‘We don’t know if I still have it or not… stay tuned,’ Goode wrote.
She said she remains asymptomatic but can’t believe she hasn’t contracted the virus given her close proximity to her newborn.
‘As for me, I’m still not showing any symptoms, which for me is really a miracle because I can’t imagine how hard the last five days would have been if I had been sick at the same time of caring for a sick baby,’ Goode explained to her Instagram followers.

She and her husband Alex welcomed their first child on September 18.
At the weekend, he developed a fever and tested positive for the virus.
‘We had confirmation that he was exposed from direct contact with a medical professional who had cared for him earlier in the week,’ she wrote on Instagram.
By Tuesday, the newborn’s fever had gone although he was still on and off oxygen.
