Where can I go on holiday now? UK's travel corridor destinations in full

Many popular holiday destinations have been and gone from the safe travel list, including the early exclusions of France and Spain which caused chaos for holidayers across Europe. ’Safe travel corridors’ opened up at the beginning of July just in time for the summer holiday season, following a respite from the first wave of COVID-19 across the UK and Europe.

Since then, the list has shrunk considerably, with many of the main destinations for a summer break removed from the travel list.

Now, many destinations UK travellers can visit are outside of Europe – so if you are looking for a trip you may have to look further afield.

Removal from the safe travel corridor means if you return from that country after the cut-off date, you must self isolate for 14 days.

You must also be able to show proof of a completed passenger locator form when you arrive at the UK border.

There are now only eight countries Brits can travel to without restrictions on either side.
