Archie Lyndhurst, the son of Only Fools and Horses actor Nicholas Lyndhurst has died aged 19. The actor was reported to have been found dead at his family home in Fulham last week. Game of Thrones actor Samuel Small has payed tribute to Archie in a post to his Instagram, writing: “To my brother Archie. I still can’t quite comprehend that you have passed. You still had so much life to live and I’d give anything for you to keep on living it.” Archie’s mother Lucy replied to the post: “He will love you and watch over you forever.”
He continued: “He eventually asked me why I wanted to be an actor, and I said it’s because I wanted to make people laugh.
“He then sent me to drama school, I got my first agent, I started getting work, and now I’m here. I’m incredibly grateful for everything I’ve been given.”
However Archie also spoke of the advice his father gave him as he pursued his career into acting.
Archie added: “I can’t offer any advice other than please don’t do it.”
Since hearning the news of his death many fans have paid they tributes on social media
CBBC have also shared there condolences on Twitter.
They tweeted: “We’re so sorry to have to tell you that Archie Lindhurst, who so brilliant brilliantly played Ollie in So Awkward on CBBC, has sadly died after a short illness.
“Archie will be hugely missed by all who worked with him, and by all the fans who laughed along with Ollie on the show.”
