While from far away, the scene looks completely normal, on closer inspection it appears there’s something more sinister going on.

Right in the centre of the green space, someone has managed to create a Frankenstein monster.

The “monster” has a huge head, its arms out in front of it and a tongue sticking out its mouth.

It also has the Frankenstein monster’s trademark squared-off head.

It’s unclear how the monster was carved into the field but it could have been done by a lawn mower.

However, because of how brown the lines are in the field, it’s more likely that these are footpaths that have been there for a while.

The bizarre sighting was spotted by an eagle-eyed Reddit user who captioned the post, “Frankenstein’s monster”.

The post garnered lots of comments from Reddit users who were perplexed by the image.

One user said: “Which happens to be close to Munster, coincidentally.”

Another replied: “This almost reminds me of the Richardson’s Corn Maze in Spring Grove, Illinois.”

While another said: “This appears to be Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein.”

Another simply said: “Fyi… Frankenstein’s Monster’s name is Adam.”
