Square Enix Tokyo Game Show stream: Nier, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, FF16, and MORE

Square Enix is getting ready to broadcast live as part of the 2020 Tokyo Game Show.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, TGS 2020 is an online-only event this year, taking place from September 24 until September 27.

Day-one features broadcasts from Microsoft, Lightning Games and most exciting of all, Square Enix.

The Square Enix live stream takes place at 2pm BST for fans watching in the UK. You can tune in live by clicking play on the YouTube video embed below.

One game that will definitely be showcased during the Square Enix live stream is the upcoming Nier Replicant remake. That’s based on the artwork used as a placeholder for the imminent live stream.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition will also be shown at the event.

But what fans are really hoping for is a look at some of the company’s higher profile releases like Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, Final Fantasy 16, and Project Athia on the PS5.

That’s on top of upcoming Nintendo Switch release Bravely Default 2, which has just been rated for the console – so perhaps we’ll get a release date.

You can see the full TGS 2020 schedule further down the page, as well as the Square Enix live stream below.
