Nadia Sawalha hits back as ITV announcer makes epic error ‘Really worried about that’

Nadia Sawalha, 55, clarified that she will not be discussing home interiors on Lorraine Kelly’s show, despite an unlikely announcement on ITV. The Loose Women star admitted her home is currently a “state” and she is not qualified to discuss the topic.

Instead, she will be talking about her latest book, Honey I Homeschooled The Kids.

Nadia said over on Instagram: “I forgot to tell you yesterday, the voiceover on ITV was saying, ‘Catch Nadia tomorrow on Lorraine, for her home interior ideas’.

“So if any of you are really worried about that, because you all know what a state my house is… I’m not doing home interior ideas.

“I’m on Lorraine with Mark talking about our homeschooling book, Honey I Homeschooled The Kids.

“Yeah don’t worry, I’m not doing home interior,” she added.

Nadia, who has written several books before, has released a new offering alongside husband Mark Adderley on how to teach children at home.

The idea for the guide came to life during the recent lockdown when children across the nation remained at home.

The couple decided to create the book based on their own personal experiences, having in-depth knowledge of the topic.

It comes after Nadia faced recent criticism from Melanie Blake, the boss of Urban Associates, which represents Coleen Nolan and Saira Khan.

She called Nadia out for being “ironic”, following a speech she gave on Loose Women about “body confidence”.

Retweeting a clip of Nadia discussing how she felt confident in her own skin, Melanie wrote alongside it: “It’s a shame she ‘officially’ gave up acting because Nadia deserves an Oscar for this speech.

“In 20 years of repping clients, I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did of her & I’m not alone.

She added: “Her constant ‘be kind’ etc speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch.”

In response to one of her followers, Melanie said she would not have mentioned anything if Nadia did not continue to hide “behind a facade”.

A representative for the star told MailOnline at the time: “Nadia is shocked and hurt by this tweet.

“Nadia is known in the industry as being kind, generous and gives her time and energy to many positive causes.”
