Piers Morgan has shared his thoughts on an awkward BBC Breakfast moment. The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain host commented on the incident online after BBC weatherman Matt Taylor made a huge gaffe on air today.
Taking to Twitter after watching the blunder, Piers asked: “Has anyone retrieved poor Mr Taylor from under the bus yet?”
The ITV star shared his thoughts with his 7.6 million followers alongside an amusing video of the moment in question.
Matt was seen talking to the show’s hosts Louise Minchin and Charlie Stayt, when he awkwardly revealed he wasn’t a fan of the next guest on the programme – Rick Astley.
The show’s social media team posted the funny clip on the micro-blogging site and amusingly dubbed it “the best guest introduction on #BBCBreakfast ever”.

Clearly amused by the incident, the singer, who shot to fame in the 1980s, was then seen in hysterics as Matt tried to recover from the mistake.
When asked a second time if he was a fan, Matt quipped: “Love Rick Astley, the best, grew up with him.”
Owning his error, the weather presenter tweeted with a reminder to himself to check who is set to appear on the programme.
“Note to self… Charlie isn’t always trying to make me do something silly, like sing, on air (hence my response).”
