Martin Lewis: Money Show host hits out at BBC over Boris Johnson coverage ‘Bad decision!’

Martin Lewis took to social media today to vent his frustration at the broadcaster. The ITV star complained about rival broadcaster the BBC on Twitter this lunchtime, complaining about their politics coverage.

“Grrr why is BBC1 cutting off PM’s response to the leader of the opposition,” the television host wrote online, in view of his one million followers.

“Sheesh. Terrible timing. Bad decision by producer/editor,” he went on to say.

During the midday broadcast, Politics Live showed a portion of the Prime Minister’s latest announcements regarding the new Coronavirus restrictions.

Towards the end of the programme, Labour Leader Kier Starmer stood up to speak in parliament.

As Boris was about to respond to the opposition, the live stream returned to the hosts in the studio.
