Iceland teams up with TGI Friday's to launch frozen food range

Popular food chain TGI Friday’s is launching its very own frozen food range into Iceland. Launching into stores around the country, the range includes fan favourites including chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and some sweet treats including a brownie and cheesecake. With prices starting at just £2, shoppers must be quick to get their hands on the exclusive range. 

The range, which includes 12 TGI Friday’s treats, are available in stores and online now. 

Iceland shoppers can get their hands on the famous chains’ tasty foods and recreate the classics from the comfort of their own homes. 

The classic Fridays Wings are selling for just £3 and are packed with barbecue seasoning and a caramelised onion glaze. 

Alternatively, there’s the Boneless Hot Wings, selling for the same price at £3 for a 400g pack which are coated in a hot buffalo sauce.

Other favourites available in-store now include the famous Mozzarella Sticks and Cajun Onion Rings both selling for £2 and are perfect to complete a meal. 

For those craving sweet treats, the range has two options both available to pick up for a very affordable price. 

This includes the Brownie Obsession dessert which can be microwaved in just two minutes from frozen and is selling for just £2, perfect to satisfy that sweet tooth.

The classic New York Cheesecake is a must have and is only £2 as well and consists of a creamy baked vanilla cheesecake on a biscuit base. 

The cheesecake can defrost in just three hours and already has a five star rating on the Iceland website. 

TGI Friday’s is popular with Brits for its affordable meals, indulgent desserts and fun atmosphere and so its collaboration with the supermarket has delighted fans. 

Food blogger Newfoodsuk recently shared the news to its 162k Instagram followers captioning the post: “Iceland launch a TGI Friday’s Range! This is amazing news! We are most excited for the Boneless Chicken Wings and The Warrior Fries!”

The post attracted over 1,000 comments with TGI fans raving about the news.

One fan commented: “Catch me in Iceland tomorrow.”

Another wrote: “We need these, especially the boneless wings!”

“How good do these look,” a third said, tagging their friend into the post. 

Iceland are providing free next day delivery for those spending £35 online and delivery costs under this amount will cost an extra £2.
