EastEnders spoilers: Queen Vic sold to Walford resident as Ian Beale ‘jailed’ – Here's how

Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt) was left sweating on Monday when Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) exposed his secret to Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean). But the grieving mother didn’t believe Ian, her oldest friend, could do something like that. However, with more and more people asking questions about Ian and his current situation, he could soon find the Queen Vic taken from both him and Sharon as they are forced to hand it over.

Ian’s powers of manipulation are getting better and better since the show returned this week.

On Tuesday, Ian managed to convince Sharon he hid the fact Denny (Bleu Landau) had been bullying Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) because he could see how much she was already suffering.

But, if Dotty can find the evidence she needs to bring him down and with Ian already struggling with the Queen Vic repayments, it seems they could be about to lose it.

“If Ian is found to be the killer and sent to prison, he will still be the legal owner of his share,” Camilla Burton-Baddeley from Stowe Family Law recently explained.

Mick (Danny Dyer) couldn’t take it back without risking Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) addiction and therefore her life.

Linda could try and convince Mick to take it over again, running the pub without living in it though.

But, as fans know, with the marriage already on the rocks, this could be the end for the Carters.

Maybe Shirley (Linda Henry) and Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) could wrangle something together.

After all, they were devastated when they were forced to move out before lockdown.

Or, Sharon might be forced back into Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) arms after such a year of turmoil.

Who better to run the Queen Vic than a long-standing Mitchell?

Sharon would finally be able to move forward with her life and hopefully have some peace once Ian is gone for good.

Hopefully Phil is past throwing ultimatums at Sharon about baby Kayden.

EastEnders airs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday on BBC One.
