On the newest episode of The Bellas Podcast, Nikki Bella’s fiancé and baby daddy, Artem Chigvintsev, made an appearance and he opened up about the day they welcomed their son. Not only that but he even updated fans on his and Nikki’s wedding plans!
Apparently, they would love if their son, Matteo would be involved in the ceremony somehow.
As fans remember, Artem popped the big question in November of last year and a couple of months later, Nikki announced she was expecting their first child.
Then, a month later, the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world and forced people to quarantine, their wedding plans pretty much ruined by social distancing requirements.
So, Nikki and Artem confirmed that their wedding is still up in the air and that they will continue to postpone it until things really get back to normal and everything is safe again.
When asked about the details of their nuptials, the dancer teased that ‘you will find out more on Total Bellas. We’re looking forward to it. We just want to make sure that, you know, it’s not going to be plastic walls everywhere around every single person. At the end of the day, it is a celebration and not just a thing you attend for the sake of attending. And both of us feel the same way about that. Once we can figure it out, what that would look like, I think it’s going to start moving quickly.’
Not to mention that they would love if their son would be involved in the ceremony as well and even without the pandemic, if they did have the wedding now, that would not be possible since he’s still a newborn.
Nikki suggested they wait until Matteo is old enough to walk down the aisle but Artem mentioned it might take too long for that to happen, meaning that he’d like to get married sooner rather than later.

‘I don’t know. The way he is, he might be walking…Brie and I walked at 9 months! He’s crazy freakishly strong,’ Nikki argued.
