Kevin Clifton speaks out on Strictly return after quitting show ‘Can’t get rid of me yet’

Kevin Clifton, 37, left Strictly Come Dancing fans disappointed when he announced he would be quitting his role as a professional dancer on the BBC show earlier this year. However, the star has now surprisingly revealed he will be making a return to the programme for the upcoming 2020 series.

Kevin explained while discussing his personal Strictly highlights that he will be appearing in three special episodes of the show, which are set to air before its official launch in October.

The British Latin Champion, who was part of Strictly for seven years, said: “There’s going to be three shows that Strictly are doing in the build up to this series where they’re doing sort of the best of.

“So they’re doing great moments from the final, they’re doing great moments from Musicals week and great moments from Movie week, which I’ve actually taken part in, those three shows.

“So the first three shows in the run up to Strictly, I will actually be on.”

The pair’s relationship has gone from strength to strength after they lifted the Glitterball Trophy together on Strictly in 2018.

Unfortunately, the dancer admitted the couple had some moving in issues and there was no WiFi available.

Speaking on his podcast, Kevin began: “Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls and everything in between, welcome back to The Kevin Clifton Show.

“We didn’t have an episode last week, so I’m sorry about that.”
