Jill Duggar Drinks Alcohol During Date With Her Husband And Her Fans React!

Fans were a little bit surprised to learn that the deeply religious and conservative Jill Duggar enjoys some alcohol from time to time. However, that is not to say that they were not supportive!

It all started with the Counting On star posting a pic of her and husband Derick Dillard on a date!

The two were obviously very excited to hit the town after being in quarantine for so long.

In the caption, the reality TV celeb wrote: ‘Date night with my favorite person.❤️ We have missed our regular date nights during covid and have had lots of in-home dates, but we were able to swap childcare with some friends last night for a date! #blessedbeyondmeasure❤️#datenight #hubbytime #stillhoneymooning❤️.’

The snap showed the married couple sitting at a restaurant table, enjoying some food and drinks.

Speaking of drinks, some of her followers noticed a very delicious looking cocktail by her right hand and one asked: ‘Drink looks amazing what is it?’

The mother of two did not hesitate to respond that it was a piña colada, prompting the same person to inquire whether it was virgin or not.

Jill replied again, confirming that her drink was not non-alcoholic but ‘regular!’

It’s no secret that the Duggars are very conservative Christians and so that was a little unexpected but most fans were super supportive of her responsible drinking.

Here are some of the positive comments: ‘So happy for you Jill that you are out there enjoying life. You’ve come such a long way.’ / ‘And that is completely ok. Everything in moderation.’ / ‘And even Jesus drank wine. You are obviously not overindulging. Congratulations on making a life of your own. You are still doing what Jesus would do, so relax everybody!!!!!!’

Some were indeed a bit taken aback and slammed her but comments such as the last one included above and others from people simply saying ‘relax’ to the haters, defended Jill for consuming alcohol.
