How to clean gold earrings
Solid gold earrings can be cleaned by dipping them in some rubbing alcohol for a couple of minutes.
Rose, yellow or white gold earrings can all be cleaned in a different way.
All you need to do is soak them in soapy water for half an hour.
This can be a mixture of washing up liquid and warm water.
Then, brush the earrings with a soft new baby’s toothbrush to remove any build up of dirt and debris.
Give the earrings a rinse with clean water and then dry using a lint-free cloth.

How to clean diamond earrings
You need to be careful with diamond earrings, so avoid using harsh chemicals when cleaning them.
All you need to do is place the diamond earrings in some warm soapy water.
Only use a mild detergent in the water, though, as anything harsh will damage the precious earrings.
Move the earrings around in the water to encourage the dirt to dislodge itself.
