BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Commission is deeply concerned with continued repressions against the opposition in Belarus as “completely unacceptable” and the 27-nation bloc will impose sanctions on the people responsible, a spokesman said on Monday.
“The EU has decided already to put the responsible persons on the sanctions list. The work is ongoing,” the spokesman told a regular news briefing.
