Ariana Grande made history when she reached 200 million Instagram followers a week ago and now she has surpassed 201 million! At one point, Selena Gomez had the most Instagram followers worldwide, but she isn’t far behind. Kylie Jenner and Selena are both on their way to reaching the 200 million mark, along with Kylie Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian. Ariana Grande had a great week where she not only made Instagram history but won two moon-men statues at the MTV VMA’s for her song with Justin Bieber “Stuck With U” and her collaboration with Lady Gaga “Rain On Me.”
Fans have been thrilled for Ariana’s success and many continue to boast about her many accomplishments on social media. You may see one of Ariana’s latest slideshows where she thanked Lady Gaga for having her at the MTV VMA’s below.
Kylie Jenner is next up. Though there is a competition brewing between Kylie and Selena, it looks like Kylie Jenner will be the next to hit 200 million.
Kylie currently has 194.6 million followers and even though she sometimes posts photos that the public finds a bit controversial, she has never done anything that saw a big change in her fan base. It appears that Kylie will hit 200 million Instagram followers soon, and maybe by the end of the year!
Though at one time, Selena Gomez had the most Instagram followers she is now trailing. But make no mistake about it, Selena’s fans are on a mission to get her to 200 million subscribers and it doesn’t appear that it will take too long before Selena hits 200 million. Selena currently has 192.2 million Instagram followers.
